Our annual celebration of ‘My Shop is Your Shop’ took place from Monday 30 May to Friday 3 June 2011.
Each day had a different theme:
Monday - Community Day.
Environmental and Community Wardens were on hand to give advice, answer questions and help with any concerns.
Tuesday - Healthy Eating Day
Samples a range of fruit, juices and other healthy foods were available to customers.
Wednesday - Cuppa Day.
Complimentary tea scones and crumpets were enjoyed by all.
Thursday - Trolley Dash Day.
Aleks, the winner of our Trolley Dash competition ran round the store with a trolley collecting as many groceries as possible in one minute. Watch Aleks in action on the right.
Friday - Fun Day.
The fun started a 2 pm outside the store with entertainment from the Oxgangs Bellettes, Firrhill School Band, Mhairi Hogg highland dancers and magician Tricky Ricky.
