Broadway Convenience Store became the 2011 SLR  Community Involvement Retailer of the Year in recognition of their support for the local area.

A Dash of Fun

The store hosts an annual, five day celebration of  ‘My Shop is Your Shop’. Highlights of this popular event includes a Trolley dash and a Fun Day.

Pentland Community Centre

Dennis is Chairperson of the neighbouring Pentland Community Centre Management Committee which organises the annual Bonfire and Fireworks Display (the second biggest in Edinburgh).

Social Responsibility

Dennis and Linda work closely with the local Police and councillors to help make  the Oxgangs  area a safer place.

Football

The store also supports the local AC Oxgangs under-11 football team, known as the 2000 squad, providing part of their kit.
